He may not have walked away with the money from 50 Cent's reality show The Money & The Power, but 19 year old Derrick Hargrove walked  away with an experience that few have had. Online he was the most popular member of the cast (second only to 50 Cent himself), and now that the show is over, he is ready to move ahead with his goals in life and show others how they can do the same. Hargrove "aka Hollygrove" is now being represented by Shadow Play Entertainment, and his main objective is to use his national exposure from the show to display his other talents. "This is not your typical reality show cast member," says Cyrus A. Webb,33, President of Shadow Play Entertainment. Since 2006 he has worked in coordinating the message of up-and-coming as well as established individuals in music and literature, including multi-platinum recording artist Corey "C-Murder" Miller and rapper/author Jacki-O. "Derrick is focused on what he wants in life, and he is out to not only showcase what he can do but use his celebrity to inspire others."

Born in Tampa, Florida, Hargrove was raised in Plant City, Florida and learned from his grandmother the importance of being true to yourself and passing your blessings along. A multi-faceted individual, he is involved in music and modeling as well as branding himself as a serious force in business. His future plans include forming an organization that aides children with disabilities. Webb and Hargrove were introduced because of the reality show on MTV but the two are also working together on projects that promote education and literacy.

"I have come to the realization that education and literacy are cornerstones of modern society," says Hargrove. "I have reached an understanding that knowledge is power. The more knowledge that is acquired, the more powerful a person becomes. knowledge is, therefore, an important tool for overcoming the many barriers and challenges that confront mankind on a daily basis. I liken these barriers to giants that confront our very being. Knowledge is the equalizer that enables us to slay our giants in life. Just like David defeat Goliath, mankind also can eliminate poverty, disease, and the many other barriers that present challenges for us."
